Gallery Opening

I'm back from a nice vacation in the northwoods. The gallery that I have consigned seven paintings to is Spring Willow Gallery in Stoughton, WI (187 E. Main St., above the store "Cheesers"). Check out their blog - some of the photos show my paintings arranged on the wall! (See their June 10 post). The grand opening is Friday, July 25, 5-8 p.m., coinciding with Stoughton's Fine Artsy Fair Gallery Walk Night. Stoughton has over 18 galleries! The Spring Willow Gallery will have live music and munchies. I plan on attending for the first hour, I will have my son with me as my husband has a gig that night, which I also hope to attend. Not sure how long a 3 y.o. can stand a gallery, so we'll see.

This photo is from the Mississippi headwaters at Itasca State Park in Minnesota. This is the source of the mighty river, it flows from Lake Itasca, winding 2552 miles to the Gulf of Mexico.
