Imagekind Gallery Created

This week I created a free account with Imagekind, an online "community for creating, buying and selling high end framed artwork". I've added a link in the right column of this blog to my gallery. I came across Imagekind on another artist's blog. You set the markup for each item either using a percentage or a fixed dollar amount (somewhat like CafePress). The free account lets you create one gallery with up to 24 images, 200 MB total. Imagekind also has two levels of paid accounts, Pro for $7.99/month and Platinum for $11.99/month. I'll stick with the free account, I don't have that many images to upload. I have a difficult time writing descriptions, what can I say about it that you can't see for yourself? There's no hidden meanings, it's straightforward subject matter that is intended to please the eye and senses, and look nice on your wall.

Other than that, a bit of stagnation in my world of art. I'm ready to start a new painting, but have yet to come up with the subject. I'm hoping a trip to the Wisconsin State Fair in early August will provide some inspiration. I've been wanting to take photos of chickens and roosters to work from, a subject that I've drawn from in the past for sketches.
